'Buttermilk' featured in New York Times, NPR list

"Buttermilk: A Savor the South Cookbook" by Debbie Moose has been selected one of the New York Times book section's 20 featured cookbooks in its online holiday list. The review noted that the book includes history and recipes for "a classic American ingredient that has been strangely overlooked." Susan Chang also included "Buttermilk" in her shortlist of books for NPR. She said of the Savor the South series from UNC Press: "Terrific idea, ingredient focused, attractively and affordably priced." |
